Release Notes:

1. Enhance the working stability of the miner under special conditions (e.g. a certain range of low or high ambient temperature environment). 

2. Ehhance the protection function in this firmware during firmware upgrade, reboot, reconfiguring the mining pool, and entering the Sleep Mode function.(Note: This version firmware with protection function will have more protection waiting time compared with old firmware.).
3. Enhance  anti-virus capability with  new security mechanism. 

4. Enhance the power-off protection function in scenarios such as the hydropower station planned power outage or the planned shutdown and maintenance of the miners. The tips for using different scenarios are as follows. If there are other scenarios or unclear matters, please contact our technical support. 

 

Tips for the use of planned power outage scenarios in hydropower station: 

(1) Receive a power outage notice of the hydropower station more than half an hour in advance, and confirm that the hydropower station will be cut off after 30 minutes of power supply. 

(2) Use the btc tools v1.2.9 version (https://url.btc.com/btc-tools-download) to scan all the miners to be powered off. 

(3) Use the btc tools tool to set all the miners to be powered off from "Normal" to "Sleep Mode". According to the actual number of miners, this process usually takes more than 10 minutes. During this period, every effort should be made to avoid power outages. After 10 minutes, use btc tools v1.2.9 to scan all miners to ensure that all miners enter "Sleep Mode". 

(4) Cut down miners power supply after completing step 3.

 

Tips for power resupply scenario of the hydropower mine farm: 

(1) Make sure the power supply of the hydropower station is stable, perform the following steps (to avoid power outages after a short intermittent power supply). 

(2) The hydropower station supplies power, and all miners are powered on. 

(3) Use btc tools v1.2.9 version (https://url.btc.com/btc-tools-download) to scan all the miners to be powered on. 

(4) Use the btc tool to set all the miners to be powered on from "Sleep Mode" to "Normal" mode state. This process usually takes about 15 minutes according to the actual number of miners. During this period, we will try our best to prevent the miners from being powered off. After 15 minutes, use btc tools v1.2.9 to scan all the miners to ensure that all miners are in "Normal" mode and the hashrate is restored.


Tips for the planned power outage for maintenance scenario of the ordinary miner farms: 

(1) Half an hour before the power outage for maintenance, use btc tools v1.2.9 version (https://url.btc.com/btc-tools-download) to scan all pending power outages for maintenance of miners. 

(2) Use the btc tools tool to set to be scheduled for maintenance miners from "Normal" to "Sleep Mode". According to the actual number of miners, this process usually takes more than 10 minutes. During this period, every effort should be made to avoid power outages. After 10 minutes, use btc tools v1.2.9 to scan all miners to ensure that all miners enter "Sleep Mode". 

(3) Make sure that after step 3 is completed, perform miner power off and then perform maintenance activity.


Tips for the planned power-on scenario after the maintenance of the ordinary farms is completed: 

(1) Make sure that the task of power-off maintenance for the miners has been completed, and prepare to power on the miners. 

(2) All the miners that have been maintained in the farms are powered on, and use btc tools v1.2.9 version (https://url.btc.com/btc-tools-download) to scan all the miners to be planned. 

(3) Use the btc tools tool to set all the miners to be powered on from "Sleep Mode" to "Normal" state. This process usually takes about 15 minutes according to the actual number of miners. During this period, we will try our best to prevent the miners from being powered off. After 15 minutes, use btc tools v1.2.9 to scan all the miners to ensure that all miners are in "Normal mode" and the hashrate is restored.

 

Upgrade method:

T17+ use normal web style method to upgrade firmware.
